Happy 4th of JULY! アメリカは独立記念日で祝日。アメリカで週の半ばが休みになるのは結構珍しい。７月４日は毎年祝日ですが、それ以外の祝日のほとんどは週末が長くなるように月曜日に設定されているから。日付指定の祝日は、この独立記念日とクリスマス、元旦くらいか。
